Kyle asks, "I'm looking for a good, cheap AM3 motherboard. Can you recommend anything that is both cheap (under $100) and supports upgrades for the near future?"
I have two recommendations for this particular category:
MSI K9N6PGM2-V2 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - At $55 supports both the Phenom and Phenom II line of processors. It comes with an on-board NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE as well as one PCI-Express x16 slot, and SATA II support. It's also flexible, supporting AM3 as well as AM2/AM2+.The good thing is that it's cheap. the bad news is that it only supports a maximum of 8GB DDR2-800 RAM (the good news is that DDR2-800 RAM is cheap as well).
GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P ATX AMD Motherboard - Is a bit more expensive at $80. It only supports AM3 processors like the Phenom II x4 or Phenom II x3, and it only have one PCI-Express x16 slot. The good news, though, is that it supports up to 16GB of DDR3-1333 RAM, which isn't cheap but it IS a lot faster and will be around a lot longer than DDR2-800.
Those are my two recommendations for good, cheap, and upgradeable AM3 motherboards.
