I've been getting a lot of e-mails regarding things other than building a gaming computer. The problem is, I don't get enough e-mails to make a spin-off site (not yet, anyway) ... so instead of ignoring those questions I've decided to give them a shot in the newsletter.

Let me know if you want me to keep diving into these topics, and maybe I'll start another site (video game help?) based around these general questions.

Tylo asks, "I'm getting pretty tired of being broke all the time in World of Warcraft. How do I make gold in WoW?"

Making gold in World of Warcraft is fairly straightforward: you need to do a lot of tedious stuff over and over again. It's not fun, it's not easy, and it's certainly no picnic.

On the bright side, if you're doing it correctly, making gold in World of Warcraft won't get you killed. Here are some suggestions that will help you along:

• Buy a guide - Something like Dugi's World of Warcraft Gold Guide is a good one to invest in. It's constantly updated with different information on various quests, monsters, treasure chests, etc ...
• Farm, farm, farm - Farming is the single best way to make gold in WoW. the problem is that it's tedious as all heck, and farming the right enemies for your level is a tricky thing to figure out. Generally, I try to farm what I can easily solo - things like wolves, and pigs. Harder enemies will drop more valuable loot, but they'll drop less of it, and they're harder to kill.
• Skinning - Skinning is one of the most overlooked trades in World of Warcraft, yet you can skin a plethora of non-humanoids.
• Auction House - If you have a stack of items, make sure you sell them at the auction house, while selling smaller quantities at NPC merchants.
• Always treasure hunt - If you know there's a treasure chest in the area, go check if it has spawned. If it's up, go ahead and grab the loot. Hey, it's free look you can probably sell at auction, or at least to an NPC.
