Deal of the Day
Visionman GMA-1A7800 AMD Gaming Computer
Sometimes cheap gaming computers are cheap for a reason. Whether it's a lack of memory, processing power, or disk space, something is missing. In the case of the Visionman GMA-1A7800, it's missing an operating system; but, that's not a huge problem when you consider its specs:
- AMD Athlon X2 4200
- 2GB DDR2-800 RAM
- 250GB SATA II
- DVDRW-LS
- ATI Radeon 3200 Onboard
- ATI Radeon HD3450 PCIe Card
- Gigabit LAN
- Media Reader
There are a couple of things you're probably going to want to upgrade on this machine. First off, the RAM, as is typical in cheap gaming computers, is a bit lacking. Second, the graphics card, while good for today's games, isn't great and won't be able to play games 2 or 3 years from now. Finally, There's no monitor or operating system.
Yeah, sure, those are down sides, but at $550, can you really complain?
While this machine comes with a keyboard and mouse, please note that it does not have a monitor or operating system.
